PIONEERS
The Harrow Pioneer Group is for young people between 9 and 13 years old and is a part of the Harrow Woodcraft Folk.
Aims:
- To span the world with friendships.
- To understand that inequalities exist and work to end them.
- To work for world peace and co-operation.
- To combat discrimination that is based on age, class, gender, race, sexual orientation or disability.
- To create a more equal and caring world.
- To understand the environment and social sustainability and to work towards a world where we provide for the needs of everyone on the planet, without destroying the environment in which we live.
Harrow Pioneers
Harrow Pioneers meet Tuesday evenings 6.30 to 8pm in Harrow. The latest programme has an extensive number of games, building on the popular regularly played ones. The games are followed by an educational period of badge work, craft work, drama, singing, folk dancing, varying from week to week. The evening usually ends with more games.
